Unlike traditional blue light glasses, Rela lenses are made to aggressively filter 99% of harmful blue and green light from TVs, phones and other devices. This type of light keeps us alert, awake and anxious.

But when we filter out blue light at night, we get more tired, sleep better and feel less stressed.

The only way we can meaningfully filter blue light is to use a tint from the opposite side of the color spectrum.

Consider "ROYGBV" of rainbow fame — that symmetry is why Relas work. When it matters most.

Best case — right after sunset (when humans throughout history would have stopped seeing blue light).

But realistically, 1-2 hours before bed will have a huge impact.

We've decided to build a single, universal size and style to keep our prices as low as possible.

What you think of the style is up to you, but our sizing is designed to flex and comfortably fit just about everyone.

By design, Relas will give whatever you're watching or viewing an orange tint. Most folks adapt to this in a minute or two, and find it quite relaxing right away.

However, Relas might not be ideal if you're color-grading video, editing photos, or looking to fully appreciate a director's coloring choices.
